The Chinese Timekeeper

Founded by Adrien Choux, formerly with Panerai in Hong Kong, he has branched out and created “The Chinese Timekeeper” a brand proudly crafted-in-China.

The brand, based in Hong Kong, finds great pride in offering unique and remarkable watches. The eponymous brand name has been deliberately chosen to emanate the Chinese heritage upon which its designs and inspiration are founded. Indeed many Chinese scholars, astronomers and keepers of time have shaped our history and the conquest of time.
The Chinese Timekeeper logo found its origins during the Song Dynasty. The representation of a Chinese sage, with his long hair characteristically tied in a bun, walking, his hands behind his back, on the rotating gear of a watch movement is inspired by one of the oldest systems of keeping time. A system invented in China.

The system was the division of the full day into 100 ‘Ke’ or ‘quarters,’ equivalent to 14 minutes and 24 seconds. There were no dials, nor hands to display the time, but rather each quarter was embodied by a wooden statuette, a statuette that became the keeper of time for 14 minutes and 24 seconds.

The Chinese Timekeeper logo is inspired by these manikins, representing the eternal running of time.
The CTK Collection
The CTK Collection, named after the brand’s initials, is made of six references for a limited production of 168 pieces. All pieces are engraved with a unique and exclusive serial number.
Movement is the Chinese automatic Seagull caliber CTK 6300 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 36 hours.

The case, in stainless steel with black or blue PVD treatment, measures 44mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 50 meters.

MSRP starts at $2,500.

sì ma seriamente da poco, e di strada ne hanno ancora da fare....ma la faranno.....

noi conosciamo i loro brand...e quello che si vuole far trapelare...io non so perchè ma credo che in modo serio ci siano già da un pò...a livello di calibri...magari cicci può dirci di più, senza far nomi   ma credo che a livello di calibri, parti ecc. ecc. ci stanno da un pò eccome....imho
