Returning to the 1970s

The Longines Heritage 1973 is based on a model produced by the brand in 1973.



The case, cushion-shaped in stainless steel, measures 40mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and it is water resistant to 30 meters.

Movement is the Swiss automatic Longines caliber L688.2 (base ETA A08.L01) with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 54 hours. The L688 caliber, a column-wheel chronograph movement, was developed and is produced by ETA exclusively for Longines.



Dials can be had in silver, with 9 applied indices with a black line and SuperLumiNova dots, two black counters, blue tachymeter scale, or in black, with 9 applied indices with a black line and SuperLumiNova dots, two silvered counters, blue tachymeter scale. Hands are rhodium-plated, with SuperLumiNova and a black line on hours and minutes hands.

The strap is black alligator with a steel buckle.

Continua la rivisitazione storica di Longines...peraltro, a qualcuno può piacere, ma la cassa di forma a cuscino "squadrata" mod.anni '70 è stata abbandonata per l'effimero successo già in passato, figurati oggi...

Secondo me se fanno pure la versione braccialata massotto ne piglia due anche di questi...
....per non rimanere mai senza....

Proprio perchè sono riedizioni...nelle quali certamente si perde il gusto degli equilibri che c'era un tempo.....

.... E ci si sforza di ingigantire tutto in questo mondo di gigante apparenza...

Non mi piacciono questi, quadranti troppo "pieni" di righette, lancette ecc.,  anche se le casse a cuscino generalmente non mi dispiacciono (ho un mark II Omega).
