Limited Edition of 15 Pieces
This watch is a symbolic interpretation of the movement of the Sun, Earth and Venus. The Astar was conceived and designed by Swiss architect Rino Brodbeck, who amongst many commissions has created buildings for Rolex.
The watch was made by Janvier SA, a firm founded by Vianney Halter. One of the pieces has been acquired by the Musée d'Horlogerie de Genève.
The case, in stainless steel, measures 40mm x 10.5mm. It has an AR-coated sapphire crystal and it is water resistant to 30 meters. The winding crown is integrated into the case.
Movement is a Swiss automatic ETA caliber with 21 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 38 hours.
The dial is astral blue, with discs replacing the hands, gold for the hours, silver for the minutes and diamond for the seconds.
It comes on a blue leather strap with a steel buckle.
