A Special Military Watch For American Troops

The Desert Wolf by Blancier has been created for American troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Willem Kamerman, the Dutch founder of Blancier and creator of this military watch, says, “I wanted to design something special for the men and women who are deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan under ISAF, because they deserve our support and respect.”
The image on the Desert Wolf watch dial is of the mountainous region in that area, done in a camouflage style. Coordinates are printed between the number 12 and the center point.

The design of the casing, in matte black steel, is a rounded square. The watch’s crown and chrono-pushers are placed at the top of the casing rather than at the 3 o’clock position.

Underneath the ultra-thick double-sided non-reflecting sapphire glass, the dial uses orange photoluminescent Super-LumiNova hands and numerals. Movement is a Japanese quartz caliber.
