Commemorating the 50th Anniversary of Shelby's Win at the FIA International Championship
Baume & Mercier is introducing two limited edition men's watches to commemorate their new partnership with celebrated racecar manufacturer, Shelby Cobra. Fifty years ago, automotive legend, Carroll Shelby achieved a victory that would change the course of international racing forever and in doing so, Shelby would restore American racing prestige.

Limited Edition of 1,965 Pieces in Steel and 98 Pieces in 18kt Red Gold
The case, in stainless steel, measures 44mm x 14.9mm. The 18kt red gold version measures 44mm x 16.5mm. Both have an AR-coated sapphire crystal, a sapphire display back, and the caseback is engraved with Carroll Shelby's signature. They are water resistant to 50 meters.
Movement for the steel version is a Swiss automatic La Joux-Perret caliber 8120 with 25 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours. It has circular-grained bridge finishing, a rotor with Côtes de Genève, snailed décor and the Phi symbol.
Movement for the red gold version is a Swiss automatic La Joux-Perret caliber 8147-2 with 27 jewels, 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 44 hours. It has a circular-grained finished plate and bridges. Open worked rotor adorned with Côtes de Genève, snailed decor and Phi symbol. Blued steel screws. It features a flyback complication.
The dial for the steel version is Shelby Cobra Guardsman Blue racing color with two vertical stripes, ringed counters with Arabic numerals, hands in the shape of the Cobra, with SuperLuminova on hands and indices.

The purchase of the red gold version includes a complimentary driving experience at the Spring Mountain Race Track in Las Vegas.
MSRP is $4,450 to $19,950. They will be available June 2015.
